Regular visitors will recognize that this was posted yesterday as a WWI 45 Caliber Long Colt Revolver. Dennis spent some time with the research department at Colt and, through the serial number on this ‘piece’ of history, found out that it was a first run 1899 45 Long Colt Revolver. (So it turns out what we thought we had is actually the very weapon that the WWI 1917 model was based on.) It’s available on the Shop page – but we imagine it won’t be for long!
